With her astute eye for high quality and proven savviness in a male-dominated industry, Michelle Parris is making her mark in the competitive world of diamonds as CEO and founder of Parris Jewels, located in the heart of the New York City Diamond District. 

 

A graduate from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Michelle takes great pride in her trade as a dealer of diamonds and leaves no stone unturned in her quest for the highest quality product for her clientele. 

 

While she may take a modern approach in running her business by using the power of social media — amassing a following of nearly 50K on Instagram — Michelle was trained by some of the best old-school dealers in the industry. With that mindset, she blends the two worlds in the pursuit of elevating her craft.

 

Michelle has had a love for diamonds and gems since her childhood days growing up in New York City. She started her company in 2010 and has since then carved a specialised niche for herself as a trader, dealing mostly in fancy shapes. Working with manufacturers, suppliers, and stores all over the country, Michelle owns all of her inventory and procures only the best GIA-certified diamonds. She also prides herself on her personal touch with clients and ability to stay competitive in the market, with prices averaging below most retailers.

 

In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband Chad and their three children Henry, Vivian, and Caroline. She resides in Greenwich, Connecticut.
